BMS Appoints Jim Buysse as CEO of its North American Operations

Jim BuyssePhiladelphia, February 4, 2008 - BMS, a leading reinsurance intermediary, announced today the appointment of James T. Buysse as Chief Executive Officer of its North American operations, BMS Intermediaries, Inc.  Mr. Buysse will be based in Philadelphia and will report to Hugo Crawley, chairman of BMS Intermediaries Ltd.

Mr. Buysse has more than 25 years of experience in the reinsurance industry.  He began his reinsurance career at Towers Perrin Reinsurance in 1979.  In 1993, he joined Greig Fester as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Group’s U.S. operations.  After Greig Fester was acquired by Benfield Ltd. in 1998, Mr. Buysse spent nine years in various senior management positions as an Executive Vice President and a member of the U.S. Executive Committee. He left Benfield early in 2007 to form his own reinsurance intermediary, Buysse and Associates Inc.
