Computer Services - Working with Partners

The Computer Services Division primarily works as a team of project managers, delivering products and services to BMS Group companies and trading partners.   In order to retain flexibility, we retain the management of our bespoke trading systems ourselves.  However, we generally choose to work with external consultants to ensure that the best and latest skills are applied to each task.  This “strategic outsourcing” reflects the BMS Group's proposition that the use of specialist professional advisors bestows significant benefits.  Here are two examples of successful partnerships we have entered into:

BMS & Xaman plc
The BMS Group is proud to work with XAMAN PLC to provide the secure advanced systems architecture and technical support we require in order to service our trading partners worldwide.  Xaman provide a fully end to end service for BMS, including off-site hosting, hardware and enterprise software technical support, Disaster Recovery, IT upgrades, resources, staffing and bespoke training.  All BMS systems are available worldwide 24 hours 365 days a year.

The BMS Catex Repository
BMS and Catex have worked together to produce a highly successful repository system. This allows trading partners to exchange information of all kinds via a central secure filing area, which is viewable by all trading partners involved in the particular business involved. This system is used by over 100 participants within the London Market and around the world, and can be made available in hours to any new partner who wishes to be involved. BMS chose Catex because of their commitment to this type of project ,and the advanced skills and infrastructure they can provide.
